Changes in society occur through a series of interconnected processes, rather than one isolated event. Similarly, changes in the textile sector should accumulate through numerous initiatives and actions. However, there are no broad changes in the global system of producing and consuming in the textile sector. To elaborate further on how these changes in society occur and persist, Professor Barbara van Mierlo will explain the basics of the transition theory applied to fashion.
