E-boiler

E-boiler

Instead of (fossile) fuels, e-boilers use electricity as an energy source. Because of the imbalance on the electricity net and chaning prices a a result, e-boiler are a relative cheap solution to benefit from a momentary low electricity price.

In this way growers can continue to play an important role in grid balancing, but large-scale installation of e-boilers may result in larger peaks in consumption, putting greater pressure on the connection capacity.
